For Arizona Beer Week HOP Central will be putting a Boatload of Belgian beer styles on tap. Both Authentic Belgians and some domestic versions that are true to the styles. Join us on Tuesday Feb 12th starting at 5pm.
In addition to a fine selection of bottles and cans in our cooler, the following beers will be on tap :

BELGIAN
Het Anker – Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van De Keizer Blauw
Belgian Dark Strong
Every year on the 24th of February, the birthday of “Charles the fifth”, the Brewery brews the Gouden Carolus “Cuvee of the Emperor” in a limited quantity and with an eye on the highest quality and tradition. With powerful notes of roasted malts, caramel and plums, its surprisingly soft and fruity aroma combines a warm roundness with a refreshing taste.

St Bernardus – ABT 12
Belgian Dark Strong
Dark with a full, ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, full of complex flavours and excels because of its long bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. Worldwide seen as one of the best beers in the world. It’s a very balanced beer, with a full-bodied taste and a perfect equilibrium between malty, bitter, and sweet. One of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren.

Kasteel – Barista 3
Chocolate Quadrupel
This beer builds bridges with the world of hot beverages, with warming alcohol in the finish. One to enjoy all the year round: with a meal, in front of an open fire or on an outdoor terrace.

Petrus – Nitro Quad
Belgian Quadrupel
This Quadrupel is brewed with 6 different types of malts. Nitrogen causes a rounder taste and a better mouthfeel.

Unibroue – La Fin Du Monde
Tripel
“The end of the world” The excellence of triple fermentation through a blend of special yeasts gives this malt beverage an exquisitely robust flavor of exceptional refinement.

Brouwerij Omer Vander Ghinste – Kriek des Jacobins
Kriek Lambic
Jacobins Kriek has a well-balanced, pleasant and slightly sweet flavour, which is best enjoyed when drunk out of its own bowl-shaped glass. An excellent thirst quencher and… perfect for drinking in an outdoor café!

Grimbergen – Dubbel
Dubbel
Grimbergen Dubbel has undergone two fermentations, which gives this ale a chocolatey, toffee taste with a warming brandy-like finish.

Brasserie d’Achouffe – La Chouffe
Belgian Pale
La Chouffe is an unfiltered blond beer which is re-fermented both in the bottle and in keg. It is pleasantly fruity, spiced with coriander and tinged with hops.

Leffe – Blonde
Belgian Blonde
A pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden colour. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head.

DOMESTIC
Funkwerks – Raspberry Provincial
This delightfully tart fruit beer is refreshing, with a citrusy berry aroma which transitions to a subtlety sweet and tart finish. Notes of lemon and tart raspberries.

Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales – Bam Di Castagna
Saison
A fall inspired version of Bam Biére. Brewed with chestnuts in the mash, Bam de Castsagna pours a rich auburn and is gently tart. Notes of earthy chestnuts, flavors of cashew, taro with traces of autumn smoke.

Odell Brewing Co. – Friek
Kriek Lambic
Kriek Lambic blended from three different aged beers up to 2 years old, aged in Woodcut barrels.
